Jeffery S. Lockard

Chief of Police

Chief Lockard is not only the Chief of Police, however is also the Chief of the Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department. He has dedicated himself to this department and community for over 30 years. Lockard has also served our Country through the Armed Forces. Chief Lockard is a current member on Mercer County Chiefs of Police Association, Mercer County CIRT Board, and part of the Region 13 Board on behalf of the Fire Department.

Russell A. Chace

Patrolman

Chace is currently a full-time officer and has been employed by the Department for 12(+) years. He is our JTAC/TAC and CLEAN administrator. Chace is the Department's active member on the Mercer County Critical Response Team, DUI Task Force, and Drug Task Force, along as being the Union's President. Chace is the Department's Instructor for Firearms, Patrol Rifle, Use of Force/Defensive Tactics, and Less-Lethal.

Gary Hartman

Patrolman

Hartman has been employed with this Department for 15(+) years. He has also served on the Mercer County Critical Response Team as a Commander and the County as Sheriff. Hartman is currently the Department's firearms instructor.

Andrew Sherman

Patrolman

Sherman is a newly hired Patrolman with Jefferson Township. Formerly served with the US Armed Forces, and formerly employed by Jamestown Police Department and the City of Sharon Police Department.
